The Grassroots are always greener Winter Sculpture Park began as a bold experiment. An ambitious, zero-budget, zero-waste project driven by a commitment to sustainability and conscious decision making. The park was designed to plant seeds of creativity in the city's out-of-use green spaces, nurturing artists at all stages of their creative journey to explore ambitious, curiosity-driven projects, whilst cultivating a stronger, more connected creative community. We envisioned a new kind of art experience that would thrive outside of traditional spaces and open up access to art and nature. “Art and nature intersect here, making the experience of both more accessible to all.” What began as small, grass-roots efforts have since flourished, growing organically while remaining accessible, aware, and connected. As we grow, we remain committed to our core values. Through the integration of sustainable energy sources and environmentally conscious practices, we’re committed to blooming responsibly, allowing the Winter Sculpture Park to evolve not just as a public art space but as a movement that liberates everyday life, making art accessible, and connected to the space it occupies. |
We're swapping white walls and closed doors for blue skies and open terrains, with the aim of expanding the reach of creativity.
We provide public art opportunities for artists at any stage of their career. Free to show and free to view, artists can explore the broadest possibilities of their practice, while presenting art to new audiences directly in the public realm. Our programme investigates the intersection of art and everyday life, by providing a platform for artwork that provokes meaningful conversations, stimulates chance discovery through creative exploration, and weaves paths of desire through established routines. Alongside our exhibitions, we facilitate peer-led clinics, field-trips, networking events and symposiums to nurture an ever-growing creative community. “Gallery No.32's ambition and determination to create spaces for artists to exhibit innovatively, explore new ideas and evolve an ever-growing supportive network of emerging and established practitioners is invaluable.” - Adrian Burnham, Buildhollywood. |
