THE FACTORY PROJECT

BETWEEN FRAMES

09 - 22 October 2021

The Factory
Thameside Industrial Estate
Factory Road, London E16 2HB

Curated by Kieran Idle & Meg Stuart
EXHIBITION PREVIEW
About the Artists

Gallery No.32 presents a group show featuring new work by 15 artists/collectives as part of a ‘festival of curation’, The Factory Project, running alongside Frieze Week 2021.

The show explores the moment in between one thing and the next. The yard space will become representative of the liminal spaces and passing places that we all exist within. Meg Stuart and Kieran Idle grew Gallery No.32 out of the frozen months of lockdown 1, when everyone was suspended in ‘liminal time’. Between Frames presents this, with each monolithic door providing a potential exit/entrance into a space beyond.

Pass through. Where will you end up?

THANKS AND REVIEWS

"I just wanted to say what a fabulous thing this is! It is so rare for people just to provide a platform for others to shine. Thank you for having the idea and seeing it through!" @sarah_grace_dye

"
I was impressed by the professionalism of the installation arrangements, publicity and catalogue. My work was seen by a group in Amsterdam, who have since offered me a residency and a place in their exhibition later this year. Some friends who live locally, raved how the show inspired and provoked discussion among their grandchildren. They visited twice." @nicolaturner.art

"What a pleasure it was to meet Megan and Kieran, an unstoppable force in the midst of lockdown, generous with their time and space and supportive throughout the WSP show. They have reshaped the notion of a Sculpture Park in their own name as a place for all." @catrionart
