Featuring eight art installations and four creative workshops in twelve North Heath high street locations; four Global billboard takeovers for local artists to showcase their artwork to the wider community; two pop up art markets; and an immersive collective histories exhibition of materials sourced and reimagined by artists from the Bexley archives.
Create vibrant oak leaves symbolising your memories of Northumberland Heath to weave together a collective narrative of the area. Explore the art of mosaic-making, from tile cutting to adhesive application. Drawing inspiration from Bexley's rich creative heritage, this workshop is influenced by artist Katie Surridge's discoveries at the Bexley Archive Centre. Engage your entire body in an active printing experience as you craft your own Now & Then 2023 exhibition posters. Join us as we take to the streets with a lino printing workshop throughout the day. |
